ABOUT US

HB Projects was formed in 1993 and employs more than 200 people. We are a business built on solid values and a people-centric culture. We will always strive to be a true partner, not just ‘another supplier’. With offices in Bradford, Livingston and Gatwick we offer nationwide coverage, but with a regionally tailored service.

RESPONSIBILITY

HB Projects places great emphasis on maintaining the highest standards of occupational Health and Safety. We have dedicated Health & Safety Advisors supported by our Compliance Director, which promote safe working and best practice across all of our work activities. We have specific processes for controlling, communicating and co-ordinating our Health and Safety management arrangements.  These are included within our certification of our Integrated Management System (IMS), this includes ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety). 

The main areas covered include:

  • Project risk assessments – preliminary and ongoing;
  • Safe design - encompassing user safety (post-contract);
  • Liaising with the client Health & Safety representatives and regulatory authorities;
  • Site safety briefings for our own staff and subcontractors;


  • Selection of people for specific roles and tasks;
  • Selection and maintenance of equipment;
  • Selection of sustainable and durable building materials;
  • Environmental management – minimising environmental impacts and project waste.
