Developing Our People
Training is provided to enable our people to perform their duties competently and safely, whatever the environment they work in.
Examples include; Apprenticeships, NVQs and Further Education qualifications in addition to in-house training, coaching and mentoring initiatives.
We truly believe that development opportunities should be ongoing. Frequent ‘check-ins’ with your line manager, optional training sessions on a variety of topics (such as resilience, time management and assertiveness), our in-house ‘thrive’ accelerated development programme that gives ambitious individuals the opportunity to fulfil their potential, and continuing professional development, are all examples of this.
Protecting Our People
Our Wellbeing Team promote good mental and physical health across the business with initiatives and campaigns, often working with our charity champions to heighten awareness and raise money for good causes.
We have Mental Health First Aiders within the organisation who have the knowledge to provide support and guidance across the business. Additionally, all team members attend Mental Health Awareness training.
